PROFILE:
Ranjeet Rao
Ranjeet Rao's expertise is in colloidal processing and direct writing of colloidal fluids. His current work focuses on developing a technology that uses a unique PARC-developed extrusion process to print high-aspect ratio metallization lines onto silicon solar cells. This technology will allow for thinner, taller lines, less shading, and ultimately higher efficiency solar cells. As such, he is a contributor to PARC's Cleantech Innovation Program, helping to bring green technologies to market.
Ranjeet received his B.S. and Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
