Norihisa Awamura

Norihisa Awamura is a researcher in the Innovation Services Group. A member of PARC's Tokyo, Japan office since its launch, Norihisa is an ethnographer, trainer, and facilitator in the field of innovation services for Japanese clients. He has contributed to many innovation projects in various fields, including construction, project management in an IT company, and the everyday life of consumers. He also delivers PARC's innovation training, sharing his struggles and knowledge gained through real project experiences.
Norihisa Awamura received an M.A. in Library and Information Science from Keio University in Japan in 2007. He has been an adjunct lecturer at Keio University since 2012. Prior to joining PARC, he was a Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC2).
He loves music, including R&B, soul, funk, and jazz, and plays electric bass. He also loves photography, which sometimes directly helps his work at PARC.
