PROFILE:
Samantha Brichacek
As part of PARC's Site Services and Environmental Health and Safety team, Samantha is involved in many PARC activities including the Safety Committee, the Emergency Response Team, and the organization-wide corporate sustainability advocacy Green Team. In addition to serving as the liaison with federal, state and local regulatory bodies to ensure appropriate compliance, Samantha develops, implements, and helps maintain company policies and programs that improve environmental, health, and safety performance — while identifying opportunities to prevent pollution and work-related injuries.
Recently, Samantha spearheaded PARC's certification as a Bay Area Green Business. She also maintains PARC's interactions with Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV), and is involved with other organizations such as the Bay Area Environmental Safety Group (BAESG), the Stanford Industrial Park EHS Forum, American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), and Semiconductor Environmental Safety & Health Association for High Technology (SESHA). Samantha received her bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in environmental health and safety at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
