Karen Bouvier

A member of PARC Operations, Karen Bouvier supports EH&S and Quality for PARC.  Over the past two decades, she has implemented management systems for worker protection, environmental protection, emergency preparedness and quality in manufacturing, site support, and research organizations.  Her focus is on integrating safe work practices, environmental compliance, and change management into groups' existing procedures and priorities.

Before dpiX, she worked at Raychem (now Tyco Electronics) supporting EH&S and Quality in the manufacturing of heat-shrinkable tubing and molded parts, ceramic surge arresters, electrical products, and high tech materials, and managing the group coordinating the worker protection activities for the California site.  At Free-Flow Packaging, she managed safety and training activities for five plants manufacturing foam polystyrene packaging material. Karen began her career as a process engineer for the UOP Process Division in petrochemical process development, and for Raychem in wire and cable manufacturing.

Karen received her B.S. in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and is a Certified Safety Professional, Board of Certified Safety Professionals; Certified Quality Auditor, American Society for Quality; and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, American Society for Quality.
