PROFILE:
Rob McHenry
Rob McHenry joined PARC as the Energy Technology Program Manager leading the development, execution, and strategy for its energy portfolio. PARC is working on a diverse set of technologies spanning the utility-scale to the handheld-device range, and Rob will help guide PARC's team to achieve high impact in the energy sector.
Most recently, Rob was a program manager at the DARPA Tactical Technology Office, where he led large-scale advanced technology system development and demonstration programs. Prior to that, Rob led a technology management consultancy that architected and applied systematic technology development methodologies in both the public and private sectors.
McHenry holds degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy in Marine Engineering, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Nuclear Engineering. He began his career as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
