Jeremy Clark is a growth strategy and innovation consultant, researcher, and author. He has been helping companies to unleash innovation for over 20 years by applying proven principles and process to the growth challenge. Jeremy's research focuses on the technologies and social processes that enable the democratization of innovation, and he is a specialist in early-stage market validation of breakthrough concepts.
Prior to joining PARC, Jeremy founded several boutique innovation consulting firms specializing in corporate venturing, an approach that embeds entrepreneurial principles and methods within companies. He was also a Principal at Strategos, the firm founded by strategy and management expert Dr. Gary Hamel. He has worked with some of the most prominent and forward-looking technology companies, including National Semiconductor/Texas Instruments, Panasonic, Markem-Imaje, Lucent Technologies, and Sulzer. He has also supported large-scale innovation programs for media, consumer products, and retail clients, including Disney Publishing Worldwide, Elsevier, Nestlé, and Best Buy.
Jeremy received a BCom (Commerce) from Birmingham University in England, and an MBA in Strategy from the University of Chicago. He is the author of "Pretotyping@Work: Invent Like a Startup, Invest Like a Grownup," which addresses a key failure point in many innovation processes between breakthrough idea generation and focused selection and execution. Increasingly, he helps companies to harness the power of social technologies to engage larger communities and customer groups in company innovation work.
Jeremy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys spending far more time outdoors than an Englishman ever expected to.
