PROFILE:

 

Vanishree Rao

Vanishree Rao is a Security and Cryptography researcher. She is mainly interested in the design and analysis of practical protocols from the provable security perspective. 

Before joining PARC, she obtained her Ph.D. from University of California, Los Angeles. During her Ph.D., she interned at Microsoft Research India (thrice), Microsoft Research Redmond, Aarhus University in Denmark, IST in Austria, and University of Maryland. She has published research articles at top conferences in Security and Cryptography such as Theory of Cryptography Conference (TCC) and Crypto. 

Vanishree pursues dance as a hobby. She enjoys theater and has acted in two movies in the Karnataka film industry.
