EVENT:
TRT4ADAPT – A model-based algorithm for the Second International Diagnostic Competition
Conferences & Talks
21st International Workshop on the Principles of Diagnosis
13 October 2010
description
Diagnostics is a critical technology for complex systems. Effective diagnostic algorithms are required in order to quickly identify and respond to faults in a system and to reduce costs associated with maintenance and repair. TRT4ADAPT, an entry in the Second International Diagnostic Competition, 2010 (DXC’10), is a combination of QSI’s Testability Engineering and Maintenance System (TEAMS) a model-based diagnosis software, and custom wrapper code that facilitates the exchange of data between test results and the real-time reasoning engine. This paper describes the characteristics of TRT4ADAPT, including an overview of the system model, a description of the TEAMS real-time reasoner, and details of the wrapper code. The paper also demonstrates TRT4ADAPT’s diagnostic capabilities as applied to the Advanced Diagnostics and Prognostics Testbed (ADAPT) electric power system.
