Companies these days cannot afford to sit still! Cheryl Perkins will shares best practices of leaders who can identify and act on unorthodox ideas to deliver top-line growth and true innovation in today’s business climate. She will describe how these leaders take innovation to the next step while tackling the current challenges of talent management and innovation fatigue.
While describing how to build the right competencies to deliver results, she will discuss how these leaders create a strategy, structure, and culture to successfully translate unorthodox ideas to true innovation. Cheryl will share insights on how these leaders engage internal stakeholders and overcome barriers to personal and corporate success as discussed in the book Conquering Innovation Fatigue.
Participants will walk away inspired and motivated to advance their leadership skills to leverage unorthodox ideas in new ways from building new capabilities, changing culture, piloting several innovation approaches, and tailoring unique solutions to win in very competitive markets.
Cheryl Perkins is a thought leader in innovation and a creative catalyst in brand-building initiatives for companies looking for that innovative edge. With over 20 years experience directing growth and innovation, Cheryl most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer for Kimberly-Clark. She ran the company¹s innovation and enterprise growth organizations, including research and development, engineering, design, new business, global strategic alliances, environment, safety, and regulatory affairs, and oversaw innovation processes, systems, and tools. She has eleven U.S. Patents and several more pending. Cheryl is currently the President and Founder of Innovationedge, a global strategic innovation consultancy.
