description

An exciting revolution is underway as we unite physical and cyber worlds. The need for skills across many disciplines to invent, design, build, and deploy these systems, known as cyber-physical systems, is greater than ever before. Cyber-physical systems are complex and critical systems like commercial aircraft, military systems, nuclear plants, automobiles, and advanced medical devices. As the ‘things' in a cyber-physical systems are being connected to the Internet (and as the Internet of Things and the Industrial Internet of Things expands), these disruptive industries are overlapping. The Industrial Internet — the integration of industrial machinery and sensors — is both a cyber-physical and an IoT system.

As we build smart, even self learning, technologies and machinery, it’s no surprise that robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and security play a major role in the revolution. PARC is no stranger to creating innovative approaches that solve difficult problems for vast disruption. PARC's CEO, Tolga Kurtoglu, will discuss how advanced technologies are being implemented to innovate sophisticated systems.
