description

What is the future of cybersecurity? How do we address threats and potential gaps moving forward? Explore cyber innovation and how it affects our organizations, as well as how to move forward to achieve success.  Xerox’s Chief Information Security Officer, Dr. Alissa J. Johnson discusses the future of cybersecurity and how just as technology changes, security changes as well. In preparing for the future of cybersecurity and the Internet of Things (IoT) converged with cyber-physical security, we are not preparing for just one future; the future is an amalgamation of many futures.

Just a decade ago, many companies didn’t even have a Chieft Information Security Officer (CISO). Today, the CISO enhances the business by protecting it, but not by rejecting ideas on the grounds of security. The right security can help generate profits and growth whereas the wrong security will result in loss. CISOs must consider threats to the IoT landscape as mission critical components to their security strategy, which includes an in-depth understanding of the IoT.
