C#/.Net Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a small entrepreneurial team developing a suite of exciting new contextual applications addressing the next wave of semantic search and personal information management.

Responsibilities:

• Architect components of application framework
• Design and develop interactive user-facing features using C#/.Net

Requirements:

• Strong software development experience using object oriented design principles
• Experience with client side desktop applications
• Strong knowledge of C#, C++, or Java
• Multithreading and synchronization
• Experience with client side asynchronous frameworks
• Experience with source code and bug tracking management systems
• Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to excellence and ability to work with other team members
• Capacity to thrive within a high-energy fast-paced environment
• 3 + years of hands on experience with commercial, user-facing applications
• Bachelor's (or higher) Degree in Computer Science

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Java, C/C++, Win32, XML
• Knowledge of MS Outlook API
• Database/SQL experience
• Experience with networking, Web Services
• Experience with social applications like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc
• Experience with graphical applications, rich user interfaces and custom controls
• Knowledge of WPF and GDI/GDI+
• Unit testing experience
• Familiarity with Visual Studio
• Previous experience with Agile Development Process
