Augmented social cognition: understanding social foraging and social sensemaking

We summarized initial results from PARC's Augmented Social Cognition research program. We are interested in understanding the emerging behavior in social software, particularly how they enable social foraging and social sensemaking. We study both Wikipedia and del.icio.us to characterize their evolution.
