WHY:  to highlight content of interest to users and reduce information overload in social information streams

HOW:  analyzes topic interest models for users and the people they follow to find relevant content to recommend.  Display is organized in reverse chronological order, with highlighted content and related user commentary to add context

IMPACT:  improve the usefulness of social information streams by helping users stay current on content that has been filtered by interest and vetted by a user's social network
