MrTaggy

MrTaggy
a social tag-based search tool for efficiently exploring topics on the web without the noise

"MrTaggy" is a prototype search engine and recommendation engine for exploring topics quickly and efficiently on the web. By using social tags that people add to webpages (for example, while using social bookmarking services), and applying a unique PARC algorithm that reduces the noise (for example, variations on tag phrasing) while increasing relevance, MrTaggy delivers the user more relevant results. MrTaggy also implements a novel user interface to explore the tag space.
