Emil Rainero is the Advanced Development area manager, with a team based in Rochester, N.Y. Emil has worked at Xerox for 30 years, starting in the Webster Research Center as a technical contributor for thirteen years. While in research, he worked on PostScript interpreters, OCR systems, document management systems, printing protocols, embedded web servers, and mobile printing. Emil joined the product development organization in 2000 as a development manager for managed print services offerings including reporting/analytics and help desk systems. He also lead the embedded network controller development team for all Xerox developed office multifunction products. Emil has led architecture teams, systems engineering teams, test teams and has managed external development partners. His last five years in Xerox has been working in the Workflow Automation business team as a product owner developing new offerings. Before joining Xerox, Emil received his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
