Paloma Fautley works as a Member of Technical staff at PARC to help design and build mechatronic systems. Her areas of expertise include Robotics, IoT, and Embedded Systems. Prior to joining PARC, Paloma worked at Maker Media as an intern to test build projects in the magazine. She also hosted Maker Camp, an online summer camp for kids, where she interviewed maker guests about their creations. Paloma was also a Camp Director for Alexa Café, a technology and entrepreneurship camp for young girls. Paloma received her B.S. in Robotics Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While at Santa Cruz, Paloma was the Chair of the IEEE student branch and lead the branch to create the Technology of Today and Tomorrow Conference as well as the Hack-a-Bot robotics competition. Her student branch went on to win Outstanding Student Branch for their hard work and improvement. In her personal time, Paloma loves cooking and playing board games.
