CCNxCon2013: PARC Hosting Next Community Meeting for Future Networking Technology

PARC is heavily involved in defining a disruptive, new networking architecture called Content-Centric Networking (CCN). This technology has the potential to change the basic method by which content is distributed on the Internet. Our open source implementation of this new architecture is used by hundreds of academics, researchers, and developers around the world.

This elite community of users gathers annually to share their work, meet fellow researchers, discuss possible architectural directions, and inspire future collaborations. This year the community will be gathering at PARC for CCNxCon2013 on September 5th and 6th. The conference features a range of technical presentations, posters, and demonstrations. The complete agenda is now available.

This year’s event is the third of its kind. The first community meeting was held in September 2011 and was invitation-only. The second meeting was hosted by INRIA in their Sophia-Antipolis, France campus and was open to anyone interested in CCN.

CCNxCon2013 is free and open to anyone who registers on the website before August 20. If you are interested in learning about CCN or connecting with the brightest researchers and technologists in networking, please join us for this event. Space is limited.
