Advancing U.S. innovation leadership in the global economy

This event seeks to facilitate a conversation between globally focused innovators in Silicon Valley and policymakers in Washington, DC to secure America’s position as the world’s leading innovator.

The global economy is interconnected and interdependent, ninety-five percent of the world’s consumers live outside of the United States, and resolving our most pressing global challenges will require global solutions.  Most of these solutions will be created and invented by Americans.  Our goal at the Global Innovation Forum is to facilitate discussions about how we can continue to create optimal enabling environments to support America’s global innovators.

The Global Innovation Forum (GIF) is a project of the National Foreign Trade Council Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization with offices in New York and Washington, DC.  Founded in 1914, the NFTC is the oldest and largest association focused on development of an open, rules-based economy.  GIF was created in January 2009 to facilitate discussions on many pressing issues of importance to global innovators.
