Getting the Job You Want in Renewable Energy

Part IV in a series of events for Energy Entrepreneurs

Sponsored by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC)

To top off our series on renewable energy entrepreneurship, this event will address the burning question faced by so many Bay Area graduates, entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, and managers: "How do I find a role in renewable energy, and advance my career at the same time?"

We will be asking four experts in their fields to address this and other questions from their perspective. Andy Towne, an executive recruiter, will present an overview of the renewable energy job market; also, he will discuss how someone with some initial success makes the leap to a managerial or entrepreneurial level. Chris Tilley and Vikas Desai, as renewable energy entrepreneurs, will relay some personal wisdom and talk about their needs when finding team members and leadership for their organizations. Finally, James Flaherty, an executive life coach, will facilitate an interactive workshop in identifying your goals, your skills, and your action plan to get the job you want in renewable energy.
