Innovation in Interface, lessons for enterprise
A new landscape is taking shape that offers people access to the net from almost anywhere, on almost any device. Unified communications technology is now common in our work and personal lives. The so-called internet of things -- a world where physical objects are seamlessly integrated into the network -- is a reality, too. What if the network could proactively enable services that people will need? What if it could augment people's reality? And what will happen as our physical and digital worlds continue to converge? How would the internet see us?
The following panelists will engage in a wide-ranging interactive discussion during this free online event:
- Bo Begole, an applied computer scientist who heads PARC's Ubiquitous Computing group and creates novel interactive systems that eliminate the barriers between information and people.
- Aza Raskin, a founding member of Mozilla Labs and Creative Lead for Firefox who recently founded Massive Health, a start-up that creates networked tools to help people stay healthy between doctor visits.
- Tim Twerdahl, a consumer electronics expert who has worked at Roku, Netflix, Motorola and Time Warner and is now in charge of the wearable technology division at WIMM Labs.
