Investing in solar: The new challenges
The solar market is booming with new technologies and new markets. But the landscape has changed in the last few years -- the photovoltaic industry has grown and matured and that has had an impact on the way that investors approach the market. Is there still room for Venture Capital in the solar industry? How have investor attitudes changed? What must a solar startup have in order for a VC to make an investment today?
We'll speak with three experienced VC investors who have looked intensively at the solar market and whose firms have made a number of investments in the solar industry.
• Abe Yokell of Rockport Capital
• Kelsey Lynn of Firelake Capital
• Dan Rubin of Alloy Ventures
