Keynote: New Directions in Flexible and Printed Electronics
The recent progress in flexible and printed electronics has now reached a point in the market where the semiconductor industry needs to take notice. While these technologies will certainly not replace existing semiconductor technologies, it is important to begin to plan how they will play side-by-side and to look at the opportunities around the corner.
In this keynote presentation, Ross Bringans will explore the traction of flexible and printed electronics today, including new ways of building and applying this class of electronics. He will also discuss some of the emerging devices in the near term, as well as the potential growth for the industry with unique future applications such as additive manufacturing, biomedical applications, sensors for the Internet of Things, and more.
