MyLifeBits

The MyLifeBits project is putting all personal documents and media in a PC for both daily and archival applications. For the last few years, the project has been capturing and storing Gordon Bell's articles, books, correspondence (letters and email), CDs, memos, papers, photos, pictures, presentations, home movies, videotaped lectures, and voice recordings in the Memex system that Vannevar Bush posited in 1945. Our project is focused on new applications that are afforded given its database orientation.
