On-the-flow pathogen characterization based on native fluorescence detection

Native fluorescence spectroscopy is promising for pathogen detection since it is sensitive and requires neither specific binding nor tagging. Our compact detection platform combines fluidic channels with chip-size spectrometers and records fluorescence from analytes as they traverse the channel.
