PARC Summer Intern Poster Session 2011

PARC interns represent extraordinarily qualified graduate, undergraduate, and MBA students from around the world. Our interns are mentored by PARC’s research and business groups -- across the physical, computer, and social sciences -- and are fully integrated into the daily activities of our highly collaborative and multidisciplinary culture. We value the fresh perspectives and energy our interns bring, and the annual poster session event provides interns the opportunity to describe their projects and talk to colleagues and other members of the community about their work and experience at PARC.

The poster session facilitates company-wide sharing of  "the next big thing" PARC scientists may be working on. This year's projects include topics, domains, and applications such as: bias and credibility, business analytics, collaborative filtering and recommendation systems, content-centric and named-data networking, context and computer vision on mobile devices, decision support, document classification, drug delivery, environment mapping, healthcare, hydrodynamic separation and seawater, information management, nanotech and solar cells, natural language, predictive analytics, privacy, search, sentiment analysis, social web knowledge, uncertainty, virtual/ real world behaviors, and more.

Since this event is PRIVATE (approved badges only), we encourage you to subscribe to emails or feeds for announcements about the PARC internship program and applications. While our intern program is year-round, the largest concentration of intern job postings appears in late Fall/ early Winter for the Summer session. All internships are paid.
