PE USA 2012
Over the last 10 years PARC had been building up a library of printed electronics devices, among these a number of digital logic circuits. The performance and complexity of these device has been gradually improving, due to advances in material science, process optimization, and in particular developments in design.
The presentation will describe the challenges and the unique approaches taken to design and build printed circuits, such as complementary logic gates, control of performance variations, and circuits adopted to the specifics of organic transistors. Some of these logic functionalities are now being explored to drive or interface the operation of printed sensor systems.
Additional information
Our work is centered around a series of Focus Areas that we believe are the future of science and technology.
We’re continually developing new technologies, many of which are available for Commercialization.
PARC scientists and staffers are active members and contributors to the science and technology communities.
