While government subsidies around the world are currently driving demand for solar technology, technological advancement and economies of scale will be needed for solar electricity to become widespread.

This forum will explore some of the companies who are at the leading edge of developing and commercializing solar technologies that could lead solar electricity to be competitive with conventional electricity. This forum will discuss how companies with a Silicon Valley mindset can use their entrepreneurial spirit and technological expertise to bring solar electricity to scale.
