Presenter(s)

Jim Reynolds has been a specialty coffee buyer/roastmaster for over 30 years. He travels frequently to coffee-producing countries to select the top quality beans that make Peet's coffee unique. He is well recognized as a leading authority in the field and has been on several juries that have judged specialty coffees in both international and local competitions. He has taught many seminars at industry conferences and trade shows.

Jim has served on the board of directors of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and the Pacific Coast Coffee Association and was later president of Pacific Coast Coffee Association. He is chairman of the National Coffee Association's Producers Committee. Closer to home, he is a founding trustee of Cal Performances, UC Berkeley's presenting arts organization, and serves on fundraising business council committees of both the Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive.

In 2001 Jim was presented with a special certificate of recognition by the president of Costa Rica for Peet's support of the country's coffee sector.
